As One

John 17:9-26 Authorized KJV

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.  And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.  While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.  I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;  that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.  And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

An inflated pastor, who was recently banned from posting Bible verses that offend the LGBT community for 5 months, claims that "oneness" is a heretic lie. This fellow makes his boast because of this verse: "Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost."

The Three In One (Trinity/Triune God) is simple to understand:

You have a spirit/God is a Spirit - John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

You have a soul/God has a soul - Jeremiah 32:41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

You have a body/God has a body (Jesus) Romans 12:5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

The three operate As One Body - the Godhead/but have different roles.

1 Corinthians 12:21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

(22-25) Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:  and those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.  For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

To make a statement that Jesus and God are two separate individuals is anti-Christ! Moreover, it aims to extinguish the Light Of Jesus that lives inside of us.

Any heresy that causes division within the Body of Christ should be rejected and the author of such-corrected. (Romans 15:20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:)

We The Church are His Body - and if we are not a part of that One Mind (thinking Christ-like), One Heart (loving and accepting as Jesus) and that One Body (broken from sin/self), then we are not Abiding in Him (John 17).

"Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits."

As the Hymn states, Holy, Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty - God in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity! https://youtu.be/JwuDSw-9cUQ

AMEN and God Bless!
